Their hollow centers are filled with cajeta; sometimes referred to as “Mexican caramel” this rich, sweet delicacy is similar to dulce de leche but is made with goat’s milk for more complex flavor. This caramel-like filling is the perfect complement to the subtly sweet churro pastry! Your customers will love savoring these churros after a delicious meal, enjoying them with a fresh cup of coffee, espresso, or cappuccino, or snacking on them any time.

These convenient churros are simple to prepare, making them perfect for your busy establishment! To cook them in the oven, preheat between 400 and 425 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on your equipment. Remove the frozen churros from their packaging and place them on parchment-lined pans. Bake the churros in the oven for 6 to 7 minutes or until they are golden brown; while they’re still warm, roll the churros in cinnamon sugar (not included). To prepare the churros in the fryer, preheat your fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the frozen churros from their packaging and place them in the fryer for 1 minute and 25 seconds, then remove them from the oil and allow them to drain for 30 seconds. While the churros are still warm, roll them in cinnamon sugar (not included).
