Chill-Its 6700FR Evaporative FR Cooling Bandana is made with activated acrylic polymers to bring cooling relief along with FR protection. Soak in water for 2 to 5 minutes to activate. Bandana remains hydrated for up to 4 hours. The tie closure in the back allows an adjustable, snug fit on a variety of head sizes. Modacrylic cotton blend fabric meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements (ATPV rating of 7.1 cal/cm2) and classified CAT1 per NFPA 70E. It also meets ASTM F2302 for flame-resistance. This simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat-stress prevention is similar to how sweat cools the body. It uses an external water source to draw heat away, helping to regulate body temperature while providing cool relief.
