Foam padding made with nitrile rubber (0.5″/12mm thick) maintains its shape over time while hugging the knee for added support. Rubber cap will not mark or damage delicate surfaces. Nickel-plated, grommet holes surrounding hard cap and strap lining add an extra layer of protection so the hard cap stays in place. Straps in the back keep the knee pads in place throughout the day.
